Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- High-contrast black and white design throughout.
- Every page and form can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Text resizes with your browser settings, and the layout adapts to small screens and zoom.
- Animations are switched off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Images have text descriptions, and form fields are clearly labelled.
Known limitations
- Some journal videos may not have captions or transcripts yet. We are working to add them.
- Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo use those services' players, whose accessibility we do not control.
